Using the Mail app
Using the Mail app is a great way to access multiple email accounts. This app is similar to Outlook or Gmail in its user interface, so you can access your mail accounts with ease. You can also organize your inbox by deleting or moving messages to folders.
Once you’ve set up your mailing service, you can add multiple recipients to each group. This process can be automated by the Mail app. In future versions of Windows 10, Microsoft is planning to make this process automatic. In the meantime, you can manually add multiple recipients to each group.
The first step in using the Mail app to add multiple people to a mailing service is to create a new email. After you type the first few letters, search for your list. You should see a list of email addresses, similar to the one shown in Figure A. You can also highlight the list with the mouse cursor, then copy it with CTRL-A.
Using Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) instead of Carbon Copy (Cc)
There are some differences between Carbon Copy (CC) and Blind Carbon Copy (BCC). BCC is used when you want the recipient to see only your email address instead of everyone else’s. It’s useful for sending a message to multiple people, but it’s not as useful as CC.
When using BCC, you should remember to double-check who gets the message. It’s also wise to update your security software regularly so you’re protected from the latest threats. For example, using BCC when you’re emailing a subordinate means you can’t sneak in your boss’s email without their knowledge.
BCC can be useful for sensitive issues, such as sending proof of bad behavior to HR or looping your boss in on client issues. However, you should make sure to discuss this strategy with your main recipient before replying to the BCC recipients. Otherwise, it’ll be obvious that you’re using BCC.
Using a Gmail group
Gmail groups are a great way to send emails to multiple recipients. They can be created from your inbox, but you’ll first need a Google account. It’s free and easy to set up. Once you’ve created your account, you’ll need to create a Google Contacts list, which is like a virtual directory of people you send emails to regularly. You can then use this list to create email groups in Gmail. The group you create will be based on the labels you’ve associated with each contact.
In Gmail, click on the Contacts icon in the upper-right corner. Click on this icon to see all of your contacts. In the list that appears, click “Add to contacts.” From here, you can choose to add a contact to your Gmail Group. You can also create a Label for each contact to make it easier to remember.
